LOCH NESS

No break to Inverness is complete without a visit to Loch Ness. Over 20 miles long, over a mile wide and 700 feet at its deepest, Loch Ness is the largest loch in Scotland and home to the famous Loch Ness Monster. Why not jump aboard the Jacobite Cruise and enjoy the sights from the water as well as audio. If you prefer to remain land side then we recommend a spot of lunch on the water edge at the idyllic Dores Inn or head to Glen Urqhart Castle known to be one of Scotlands largest castles, its perched over looking the dark depths of Loch Ness.
